Vietnam pangasius put on ‘green list’ in WWF Sweden’s Fish Guide
Vietnam Embassy’s Commercial mission formerly announced WWF Sweden that Vietnam pangasius industry has reached its commitment in 2012. The industry now provides ASC-certified pangasius products, which accounted for 10 percent of national production.
It is striving to ensure that all fish receiving one of the international certifications for responsibly farmed fish by 2015. Of which, 50 percent will be granted by ASC certification program.
Base on the considerable achievement of Vietnam pangasius industry, WWF decided to list the fish as green seafood product in its new Fish Guide.
WWF Finland also updates the news that Vietnam pangasius industry achieved ASC certification on its official website.
